LaCie's Rugged is compatible with systems running Windows 7 or later, as well as macOS 10.12 or later with an available USB 3.1 Type-C, Thunderbolt 3, USB 3.0, or USB 2.0 port. It comes equipped with a USB 3.1 Type-C port, which is also known as USB 3.1 Gen 2 or USB 3.2 Gen 2. Included is a USB 3.1 Type-C cable and a USB Type-C to Type-A cable.
